Starting to Love Our New Home

In fact, during the first day we reached Lynne's house, we had an uneasy feeling because we weren't used to it. There's bugs flying in our bedroom, and the bedsheet seems a bit filthy. Lynne seems quite fierce to us too.


Things changed after that.



After one week stay here, we start to love our new home. We start to discover the beauty of it. Lynne's house is a small cottage surround by huge greens, and it's actually a lovely cottage. The design of the house is nice, and she had a lot of animals with her like chickens, birds, parrots, tortoise, two cats and a dog.

The animal kingdom

Oddie is a 7 year old dog. First time when we saw this dog, we feel that he is ugly and he always carries an unpleasant smell with him. Therefore, we don't really like him. However, this dog taught us a lesson that "Don't judge a book by its cover".


One day when we were home from work, Lynne's neighbour's dog bark us very fiercely, not letting us to enter the house. The black dog is so huge and he is really really fierce to us, he blocked in front of our car and not letting us to open the gate. Suddenly, the brave Oddie ran out from the house. Oddie barked at the black dog fiercely too, seems like telling him that we are their friends and it is OK to let us come into the house. Lastly, Oddie blocked himself in front of the black dog to safeguard us to enter the house. All of us feel so funny, and yet so touching for Oddie's behaviour. We were also guilty that we had a bad impression with Oddie at first. Since this incident, four of us were good to Oddie and we starts to sayang him.

After few days we stayed here and getting along with Lynne, we also realized that Lynne is actually a nice person. She will help us to keep our clothes during rainy days, and sometimes she help us to cut some food which is too hard. Lynne also recommended us to go for a walk nearby the beach at her house. Since we have some time today, we just have a morning walk around her house.
