Dunedin Steepest Street, Invercargill Stirling Point, Water Tower

Before we leave Dunedin, we have a stop at its famous Steepest Street.

Baldwin Street is considered the world's steepest residential street. A short straight street a little under 350 metres long, Baldwin Street has an average slope of slightly more than 1:5. Its lower reaches are only moderately steep, and the surface is asphalt, but the upper reaches are far steeper.

Invercargill is the southernmost and westernmost city in New Zealand. It is also one of the southernmost cities in the world. Since we were coming from the big and vibrant Dunedin city, Invercargill is somewhat boring to us. Just a small city, with not much attractions to visit.

We had a 30 minutes drive to Bluff, the southernmost town in New Zealand for the Stirling Point sign post. This sign post is memorable for displaying distances to major cities in the world.

Basically, there's nothing much about Invercargill. Just a water tower and we spotted some cute mushrooms in Queens Park.
