Helping in the Farm!

24th October

Today is our third day at Bombay Farm - Alpacas Village 驼羊山庄。 We wake up earlier than usual as we were ready to have a morning walk with Mr Kuo's dog, Milu, a white swiss shepherd dog. Milu is a very clever and lovely dog. She can listen to your instruction to "sit" or "walk", and she is really manja to people :)

While morning walking, the scenery surrounding us is astonishing. Have you ever seen more than 100 milk cow on the grass? I couldn't really describe the scenery in words, but when you see more than 100 of them, you don't really feel that there are so many of them, especially when the meadow is so green and huge without boundaries. This reminds me of our childhood famous advertisement in tv "乳牛喝清洁的水,生产的牛奶,也纯净新鲜”。I feel so blissed that I had the chance to view this perfect scenery as described in Fernleaf Ad!

Milu is a one year old dog who is super active and energetic. She got so excited to have a morning walk with us and we have to hold her really tight. She got especially excited whenever she saw cow, sheep or car along the roadside, and what we have to do is to fight with her energy to let her stay calm. Overall, it is a very very relaxing walk and we decided to do that everyday. Even breathing along the roadside is a great enjoyment to us because the air is sooooo fresh.

Afternoon, we went to Manukau city to register for our new baby, Honda Odyssey! We bought a insurance for him as he is the one who is going to travel with us during our adventurous journey here. Everything is smooth and moreover, we got to get a super cheap deal at Harvey Norman for a brand new GPS. The GPS promotion is only one day at that specific outlet, and we are so lucky to enter the outlet at that specific day!!! Four of us were overwhelmend with happiness as we really feel blessed to have save a lot of cost in purchasing the car!

Our new baby!

After lunch, it was time for us to have some farm work in exchange of our accomodation at Alpacas Village. Mr Kuo designated different jobs for all of us, and here it go! This is the first time that 4 city girls and boy are doing gardening work, or shoud I say farm work. As alpacas village is a really HUGE garden.

Okaayy! First I was designated to cut the dried and whithered leaves, whereas others of them were either weeding, leveling up the sand or removing unwanted plants. Will was spraying a bioorganic pesticides to kill the unwanted grass in the farm. Also, we helped to remove the unwanted trunks while Mr Kuo was sawing the tree. Last but not least, we helped to drain out a water passage way in the garden. Although it is just a 2.5 hours work, it is a bit tiring for us as we city people dont get to do these work in normal days. However, we felt great satisfaction when we saw the farm is becoming cleaner :)
Work work work!

Will, Chuen and Corey start to clean up our baby straight after work. They start to vacuum, wash and clean every single corner of the car as it is where we rely on for our long journey here. The filthy car changed to a "bling bling" green in just 1.5 hour!

Whereas for me, i was busying in the kitchen to prepare for our dinner tonight as today is our cutie Corey birthday! This is a rich meal prepared to celebrate her birthday, as we have sausage fried rice with egg, tom yam chicken and abalone soup! Happy Birthday Corey! Here ends another fruitful yet happy day for us!
